Making It Plain: “Theology” = The Study of God

SIH TOTT ICONTheology comes from two Greek words:
1. “theos” which means “God”
2. “logos” which means “word concerning, to discuss, to study”.

This term is not used in the Scriptures.

Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou… hast prepared thine heart to seek God. (2 Chronicles 19:3)
