    Reblogged this on Ancient Paths.

  2. Praise the LORD! May Bro Phil continue to bring the light to A&E and all those who need to hear the truth of the gospel! 🙂

  3. Teresa Rice says:

That was awesome testimony. Very inspirational. And courageous to share that in hopes that others will turn toward God and away from sin.

    Awesome testimony! Thank you.

  6. ddclaywriter says:

This family is such a blessing; very funny and a great witness to the country about what good people and good clean fun can look like.

I know why the ‘filth’ wins out on shows and music but it’s a shame.

    • Rob Barkman says:

I do enjoy watching the show as well. But I have to say out of the whole family, Bro Phil is the one that impresses me the most. He seems to be a very dedicated Christian that is a wonderful leader for his family.

      • ddclaywriter says:

I would have to agree. I haven’t seen the show very many times. Not that I don’t enjoy it, but I just don’t get to it.
I enjoy his humor and wisdom that is spun with down to earth common sense.

I think that probably comes from the Lord no doubt.

  7. Carole in The UK says:

The Gospel message in a nut shell.
    I love it.
    What a blessing!!.
    Thank you for sharing.

  8. SLIMJIM says:

Wow that was encouraging to listen to! Imagine if he can present that on Prime Time television?

    • Rob Barkman says:

It would be great. I doubt that they have the freedom to say things like that…. I would guess A & E has the final say on content. Lord bless.

  9. Thanks for sharing Brother Rob. We have not watched many of the episodes, but have certainly heard a lot about the show and appreciate the testimony for Christ.

    • Rob Barkman says:

Just recently, I have begun watching the show. Although much of it is simply clean foolish fun, I do appreciate Phil’s consistent testimony for Christ in almost all of the episodes, especially His time of prayer at the end of each episode. Lord bless you.

  10. Reblogged this on Ephesians 5:16 and commented:
Below is a reblog from “Settled In Heaven Ministries”, a blog that I occasionally read. The post is the personal testimony of Phil Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame.

  11. Astonishing post.Praise the Lord.God

  13. Lori Schulz says:

Thanks for sharing that video! I haven’t seen Duck Dynasty, but I heard him speak on the K-LOVE Fan Awards show and it’s so great to see a believer being successful and having such a great influence in the lives of so many people. -Lori

    • Rob Barkman says:

Yep, I thought it was great to see their popularity among so many different types of people. I watch the show every now and then and, by far, Phil is the one that impresses me the most. He does stand out all the spiritual leader in his family. Lord bless you Lori. Thanks for your comments.

  14. Lena Rae says:

I relate – I’ve known Jesus 28 years. Interestingly. Had to tell you since you said you’ve known Him 38 years! And each day is sweeter than the day before. I love the Lord!
