SIH HALTAL ICON(Eph 4:32)  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

For the SIH devotional on this subject:

  1. Reblogged this on justiceforkevinandjenveybaylis and commented:
    forgiveness is not always easy…..

    • Rob Barkman says:

You are so right…. it is almost never easy, but it is necessary for us to display the wonderful grace and forgiveness of the Lord to lost mankind.

  2. I have written a post about forgiveness:

I agree that we should forgive others just as GOD forgive our sins.

    • Rob Barkman says:

There is no doubt that forgiveness is a very important aspect of living a Godly life, for it reveals a genuine salvation experience to the world around us. Forgiveness of others indicates that we have been forgiven by the Lord. If a professing Christian does not forgive, there is great reason to question their salvation experience.

      • I do agree about the questioning of the salvation of those who refuse to forgive all. It is very important to forgive because as said here “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:15. Forgiveness is absolutely a must because a person who do not forgive others their trespasses, they will not be saved. A person can only be saved if their sins are forgiven, but as said in that verse, it stresses the importance to forgive others. I think it is wise to forgive because our own transgressions cannot be paid and cleansed by our own power, but only through the blood of JESUS CHRIST alone.
