Heb 10:30 KJV – For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Our Lord is the only One who can execute perfectly just vengeance on those who oppose Him and His people.

  1. Yoshiko says:

This verse often baffles me whenever I read this verse. How God is going to take His vengeance?

    • Rob Barkman says:

In at least two different ways… He will show His vengeance to the living lost at His second coming (Rev 19:11-21) and then He will show His vengeance against all the lost of all time when they stand before Him at the final judgment and then are sent to the Lake of Fire for an eternity (Rev 20:11-15). These may be some other times also, but those are the two times that are clearly presented in the Bible. Lord bless you Yoshiko. Thank you for a very good question.

  2. The True Light! says:

Truer words were never spoken! Leave the payback to He who has the right to Judge…

    Always good information, Rob!

    • Rob Barkman says:

Sometimes it it very difficutl to do, but we should always allow the Lord to deal with others as He sees fit. He is the perfect judge, any judgment we might bring upon someone will be far less fitting than the perfect judgment of God. Lord bless you TTL

      • The True Light! says:

“But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (Jude v.9).

Even the angels of God dare not pronounce judgment in the place of God. So we should never do so ourselves…

  3. Streim says:

Very important lesson for the true believers to absorb and retain in their hearts! Too often I see and hear others doing more than just exposing untruth, but actually placing a “guilty of” label on those. God is the one and only Judge…for His judgements are righteous and true.
Thanks for another great message brother Rob.
May God bless you with joy!

    • Rob Barkman says:

      Hi Stephanie<

How very true. Many times, Christians have a tendency to be judgmental out of overzealousness in their own beliefs. As I know you understand and teach clearly, there are certain basic doctrines that, if denied are signs of false believers and antiChrists. But there are many other doctrines that are open to debate and care must always be taken not to confuse the two different types of teachings.

      Lord bless you !

  4. SLIMJIM says:

A great truth that should slow us down when we want our own vengeance
