(18)  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

For the SIH devotional on this subject:

  1. The True Light! says:

God gives every opportunity to us all to obey His gospel and repent of sins. That’s His loving nature. But if we persist in the worldly ways, He will judge that one day in the future, and like it or not, (and those people won’t), He will cut off the “dead branches” and burn the “brown grass!”

He is a Holy and RIGHTEOUS God, and is Judge of all things in the end…

    • Rob Barkman says:

How very true. Man’s responsibility for his own rebellion and sinfulness cannot be denied, nor can God’s hand of judgment be questioned. I thank the Lord we serve such a wonderful, reliable God! Lord bless you my friend.

      • The True Light! says:

He means every word which He has revealed to us. That is a fact that we can count on.

The Lord is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. His promises to all of us will all be kept.

If we are smart, we will believe and follow Him on this side of eternity!
