Christ Came To Earth As Man So He Could Suffer and Die For Us.
Heb 2:9 KJV – “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”
It’s a beautiful verse. Recently I’ve also been reading the New Living Translation alongside my other favourites – this is what it says.
What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.
Thanks for sharing this text from another version…. much appreciated. What a wonderful truth to know that He became man to save us from our sins! Lord bless you.
